Sanctuary Kids

At Sanctuary, we see our children as full and equal members of the Body of Christ, deserving of care, dignity, and love.

  • Worship Services

We believe it is of great value for our children to participate in our regular rhythms as a community. With this in mind, each week, we incorporate our school-aged children (5 and up) into our regular services and liturgies and worship before being dismissed for a lesson.

  • Children's Classes:

    (Provided for ages 0-12 weekly)

We provide children with age-appropriate teaching and experiences that relate to their developmental stages and daily life in their own classrooms.

Each of our classes is staffed with fully background-checked team members who are trained to safely and lovingly care for your children in a way that reflects the love and care for God.

  • Events and Programs:

We recognize that much of our children's spiritual development happens in the home. We desire to provide rich and applicable, at-home resources as well as frequent, family-focused events that empower parents and engage children in faith development as a family.

  • Parent Partners Initiative:

Parent Partners serve in Sanctuary’s Children’s Ministry classes once every 6 weeks. Family Partners have two primary purposes in the classroom — to have fun and participate in the class!

Family Partners act as assistants to our Ministry Leaders, but they’re not responsible for teaching lessons or preparing for the class. This is a simple commitment that we trust will foster not only the spiritual growth of our children but the growth of our Family Partners as well.

Check-In

& Pick-Up

When you enter Sanctuary, you'll be welcomed by our Greeters and directed to the SanctuaryKIDS check-in desk.

A member of our team will help you through our secure sign-in process and will help children 3 and under find their classroom. Children 5 and up can be checked in and will continue with your family to the main service.

After worship, children 5 and up are dismissed for a lesson in their own classroom and brought back into service with your family for Eucharist.

Upon checking in, you will be given a security sticker tag for each child. This tag is used to pick up the child and to page parents out of the service if needed.

It is very important that we provide the safest possible environment at SanctuaryKIDS, so no child will be released without their security tag.

Become A Parent Partner

  • Parent Partners are asked to join us in the classroom once every 6 weeks (roughly 8-9 times per year).

  • You totally can — just sign up! Grandparents, friends, people with the heart of a parent, or people who just love kids are all welcome. We are all part of the Body of Christ and have something to contribute!

  • No — Parent Partners are there to experience the class, assist our Kids Ministry Leaders, and learn more about how to bring the children’s faith development into their home and daily lives.

  • No problem. We are flexible and can work around your schedule. All we ask is you give us an adequate heads up!

  • Nope! Parent Partners exist to learn alongside the kids and support our Leaders by being a presence in the classroom, helping with snacks and crafts, and playing with the kids. No leading or pep work required.

  • You can choose which age groups you would like to partner with and what tasks you would enjoy participating in.

  • Yes! There are lots of allergy-friendly snacks!
